I just remember being so incredibly bored reading this book. It was hard to continue reading and I tried to just stick it through with no avail. I had to give it up. With all the hype I have been tempted to give it another shot but we'll see.

One of my favorite books I've read in the past few years. Less was a person that I truly cared about and found myself hoping he found love and lived a happy life. I have read most Pulitzer Prize novels, including The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao, another favorite, but I have never forgotten Less and still think about him and hopes he is happy (silly, I know).

I finally got it, at the end. Loved the ending, but not sure I liked the rest of the book. It was disjointed, but maybe that is how his life was??

About the author

Andrew Sean Greer is the bestselling author of five works of fiction, including The Confessions of Max Tivoli, which was named a best book of 2004 by the San Francisco Chronicle and the Chicago Tribune. He is the recipient of the Northern California Book Award, the California Book Award, the New York Public Library Young Lions Award, the O Henry award for short fiction and fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts and the New York Public Library. Greer lives in San Francisco. He has traveled to all of the locations in this novel, but he is only big in Italy.
