He spent most of his career with the "Nottingham Post," before becoming deputy news editor and community news editor. He was also editor of the newspaper s nostalgia magazine "Bygones." He has written books about Nottingham s past, Coxmoor Golf Club, and a collection of stories about unsung war heroes, "Their Names Will Live On."
