Good book for its time (2014) but almost same price as physical book ( It was a bargain in those days ) If we were even in 2017 I would give 5 stars but to be fair to new buyers I must disclose that I am now penciling in notes to update my physical version , so it works in 2020. Things like native Browser support for the jQuery library link for Javascript to make it work on all Android devices through the Google CDN (Content Delivery Network) with AJAX It only takes a minute but I feel that new buyers without much experience could jump in here and feel cheated when they realise that this ebook is still that same 3rd Edition back then and not have the immediate knowledge to revise it themselves. Other than those things ( just in the case of this particular book ) I very much like this authors style and I will continue to buy any of his latest books. He is a very good and thorough teacher and you can learn a lot from an Andy Harris programming book.
