About this eBook

Back in the devil’s lair, I’m at the mercy of a man who fascinates and terrifies me, a tender killer whose obsession with me is growing by the day. Nikolai Molotov is as much my captor as he is my protector, his compound both my safe haven and my gilded cage.

If only I could resist his lethally seductive touch... or fight his growing hold on my heart and mind. Because no matter how far I delve into the enigma of his past, I still don’t know the answer to the most crucial question:

Just how dangerous is his love for me?

Note: This is the conclusion of Nikolai and Chloe’s story.

Cage me in with him! 4 stars This book starts right where book one stopped, so you must read it first. Chloe learned that Nikolai will “keep [her] safe from everyone except himself,” and I was here for it! He had a “darkly magnetic” pull to Chloe, and he was just as protective, possessive, obsessive and intense as ever in this book. I would love to be caged in with him like Chloe! Even though they knew each other a short time, their connection and bond was strong and electric. Chloe frustrated me a little bit, but Nikolai understood her to my relief; he understood that she would would have trouble admitting her feelings for him, because “it compromises her society-imposed morals,” and how she wants to think of herself. So can Chloe embrace her true self and her feelings for him? I loved their journey in this book; two imperfect people learning they were perfect for each other. Then add in an action packed denouement, and this was a satisfying conclusion to their story. I definitely recommend this duet! I requested and received an advanced copy of this ebook for my honest review that I am voluntarily leaving.

Chloe is so annoying and immature silly and Petty in this book. Too much time is spent on her whining and complaining and using adjectives about Nikolai that are redundant. It's very annoying. I'll revisit my review when I'm done. Edit: This book was so long and drawn-out it was ridiculous. I still give it a 3.

I loved the finale of Nikolai and Chloe's story. It wasn't as fast-paced as the first book, but still had a great not to dark storyline, well written and easy to read with some suspense and a wonderful closure for these characters. Love love love little Slava and I want Nikolai for myself.
