About the author

The author of this novel is Mr Ankur Chauhan who is currently studying in Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Rohtak. He himself comes from a middle class kissan family and a village too; therefore, for presenting this entire “Notebandi” novel he has considered the context of a kissan family and a village. However, the story is not limited to a kissan family and village but it unfolds and covers the larger width of the readers including students, youngsters, newly married couples, and typical Indian fathers & mothers. Apart from writing, the author frequently writes on his Facebook Page. He is a columnist in one of the largest Hindi newspaper Dainik Bhaskar. Most of his writing is focused on the social and political issues across the Nation. Ankur has formulated a self-sustainable NGO “SAAFGRAM” for creating a dustbin & dump yard free society in India.
