About this ebook

High powered Denver attorney Layla Cox gets more than she bargains for when she sets her sights on a sexy cowboy during her friend and client’s wedding. After a weekend of explosive and unforgettable sex, her tryst has consequences. She’s pregnant. Determined to provide a good life for her baby, she leaves her fast lane life to buy a practice in small town Marietta so her child can have some contact with his birth father.

Tyson Watson doesn’t know what hit him. After his brother’s wedding and the best weekend of his life with the woman of his dreams, he doesn’t hear from the beautiful lawyer again–until she arrives at his ranch, announces she’s pregnant, and tells him that she doesn't need anything from him. Too bad. Layla may be independent, but Tyson is stubborn and has no intention of falling in line with Layla’s plan.

Can two strong-willed people turn a weekend of passion into a lifelong love?

Hello pot, meet kettle, goodbye heart. Layla and Tyson are two of the most stubborn people. They drove me crazy with their pride, seduced me with their romantic two step and claimed my heart in the end. Ann B. Harrison created a winner. She took a few of my favorite things and dreamed up a sweetheart of a love story. For Layla getting in touch with her inner wild child has lasting results. Can a country boy convince a city girl to take a chance on love?

I enjoyed Her Favorite Cowboy by Ann B. Harrison, book four in her Watson Brothers series. Tyson Watson is the youngest brother who struggled to make his ranch profitable. After his brother’s wedding Tyson spends the weekend with the woman of his, Layla Cox, but never hears from her again. Layla is a high powered lawyer in Denver and gets more than she bargained for when she set her sights on Tyson; she ends up pregnant. Layla moves to Marietta, purchases a law practice, all so her child can have contact with his birth father. As independent as Layla is, Tyson is as stubborn, and will not agree to Layla’s plan for the future. These two stubborn and proud people have a lot of issues to iron out as well as need to learn how to communicate with and listen to each other before they can smooth things over. It took me a while to warm up to Layla, feeling that no one was listening to Tyson but once I did I really enjoyed her story. This was an enjoyable book with likeable and authentic characters. I really enjoyed reading this book and had trouble putting this book down, reading it in one day. Ms. Harrison drew me in and did not let go until I read the last page. I definitely recommend this book to other readers. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

Tyson Watson is the youngest of the Watson brothers and he is trying to make a go of things on his own ranch, but money is tight. Layla is a lawyer who has been friends with Tyson's older brother for years. When they see each other there are instant sparks, but they are both very stubborn and both very sure that they are too different to make things work. I really enjoyed these characters and how the author wasn't afraid to let their stubborn, controlling natures shine through so much. Their attitudes and behaviors make them who they are and I loved seeing to people so stubborn work on finding their way. This was a great story and I really like the whole extended Watson family.
