About this ebook

From USA Today Bestseller, Ann Major, comes book 4, a new sexy, reunited lovers romance in her Lone Star Dynasty Series.

“Want it all? Read Ann Major.” Nora Roberts

"From the infant stages of the romance genre Ann Major has been a significant contributor. Her name on the cover instantly identifies the book as a good read."—Sandra Brown

Audrey:

There’s no way I’ll go back to East Lewis, my husband of thirty years. Ever.

That’s what I tell myself when I return from Texas to New York after a six-month separation. He can keep his irresistible charm, his sexiness, and his fame. I don’t care if I feel comforted in his arms or if I crave him even though I despise myself for the things I ask him to do.

He betrayed me, and I’ve stayed in this marriage of convenience far too long.

I’m not stupid enough to give him another chance.

That’s easier said than done when a family crisis occurs, a younger woman starts chasing him, and nightmarish flashbacks cause my world to fall apart.

I don’t know what’s real or fake, or if I’m terrible person. I only know I need him.

Will East even want me when he knows who I really am and what I’ve done? Can I forgive myself? Can I trust in love and forgiveness to wash the sins of our pasts away?

The Lone Star Dynasty series includes:

Love with an Imperfect Cowboy (published)

Love with an Imperfect Maid (published 8-1-2019)

Love with an Imperfect Bridegroom (coming 9-1-19)

Love with an Imperfect Bride (coming 10-1-19)

A very intense tale. Audrey had demons to face and ultimately overcome. There were a number of revelations about herself and her family. East stayed with Audrey through thick and thin. Audrey began to make amends for previous wrongs. The subject matter in this book was difficult. It did bother me that East and Audrey seemed to find their HEA after only TWO visits with a therapist, none which included East. There was nothing more about what happened to Audrey's sister or her parents. I thought we might get an epilogue. For the most part, I found the book to be intriguing. I did get tired of Audrey running hot and cold, but that was explained and expected. It just seemed to me that after all of the buildup, I did not expect the ending to feel so rushed. It seems like there is still one secret to resolve regarding Nell. Maybe in a future book. I voluntarily read and reviewed the Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
