Okay! So let's start with the fact I really tried to get into this story, I really did try! But I'm dnf at chapter 7. So I'm sorry for that. I could totally understand about the name she would have inherited from her hubby being a problem as a teacher! But her reaction to the man that used to be her student was OTP!. I mean seriously, Your fiancee stood you up and your sister is Missing. I can kinda guess that her sister probably ran off with the missing fiancee. The cop acted liked he was an adolescent teenager. And she definitely didn't act like a middle aged woman. I just couldn't get into it. Don't take my word for it though. Even if it wasn't my cup of tea doesn't mean it's not yours. This is the 10th book in the States of Love series featuring the sizzling story of Austin and Penelope. Austin is a cop who's become a bit jaded by his job since he thinks that he's seen everything until he gets to a traffic jam and sees his HS fantasy in a wedding dress running. Penelope Summers never expected to be a runaway bride or that while running in her bridal gown that she would create a traffic jam on what is definitely the worst day of her life. To add to her humiliation the gorgeous cop who helped her is one of her former students and the sparks sure do fly between the cop and the science teacher he fantasized about in HS. When Penny gets accused of a serious crime and the evidence is stacking up against her will Austin actually arrest her? You really need to read this steamy reverse age-gap story to see what happens. A great story about a cop who sees a runaway bride who happens to be his former teacher. It was quite entertaining, and I loved reading the story.
