Almost impossible to rate any of Rule's books as anything but 5 stars. Always meticulously researched and written in an easy to read style that ensures the reader never fails to grasp the importance of any event or evidence to the bigger picture. No doubt the Queen of true crime writers with only a few equals. Buy any of Rule's books with confidence.

just not as good as Ann Rule usually writes or perhaps the story just isn't as interesting

About the author

Ann Rule wrote thirty-five New York Times bestsellers, all of them still in print. Her first bestseller was The Stranger Beside Me, about her personal relationship with infamous serial killer Ted Bundy. A former Seattle police officer, she used her firsthand expertise in all her books. For more than three decades, she was a powerful advocate for victims of violent crime. She lived near Seattle and died in 2015.
