Mia and Damien come from feuding families. He's always been attracted to her, but she's wary of him. They agree to accompany each other to a couple of social events for business reasons—nothing more. But when her family objects to her dating him, rebel Mia starts thinking it wouldn't be such a bad idea to get to know him better. But is Damien using her for his own ends—and to seek revenge on her family? Damien is such a sweetheart in this book. A few times I wanted to shake Mia for keeping her distance. I confess, I did not see the twist toward the end coming. If you like the family feud trope, you will likely enjoy this book. Thanks, NetGalley, for the ARC I received. This is my honest and voluntary review.
