This author's stories are OTT steamy and a little too crude for my tastes, but I’m glad I stuck with this story despite the H&h hopping into bed when they actively disliked each other (just lust). Why? I ended up liking both the hero and heroine despite the crudeness, as well as the hero’s zany, protective aunts. His chieftain father banished him after another in the clan slandered him... and people believed it. Will the hero’s banishment be ended? Will the heroine stay in the past?

The author has given us a spellbinding story that pulls us into the lives of Alyssa, Kieran and his aunts. The story keeps us turning the pages with time travel, witchcraft, danger and steam. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
