I really enjoyed this paranormal romance book. It was the first book I've read in this series and I loved the fact that the FMC was older and not a young beautiful girl. Cyneric was plagued with uncontrolled powers and was sent on a journey to correct this and help save the destruction of realms. He meets Amanda, a human with past dealings with the paranormal world and not afraid of Cyneric. This book was exciting and steamy and I can't wait to read more books in this series! While this is the 7th book in a series, it is my first Anna Durand novella, and I wasn't disappointed. Delightfully hot and sexy. Great characters, and a well written storyline. Would recommend. Cyneric is a complex character that I'm glad that we finally are getting his story. Cyneric and Amanda are amazing together. She see something in him that most don't and he is completely obsessed with her. The writing is so vivid and engrossing. This was a captivating adventure and additon to the Undercover Elementals series.
