cliffhanger! a lot of words, little resolution. Got 2 stars because it was well-written but sloppily proofed/edited. This complex plot involves interactions among angels/gargoyles, humans, werewolves, and vampires with minor appearances by spectors, witches, necromancers, and other assorted nastys set in today's world. An immature human is destined mate for Parisian vampire ruler. On meeting QAhe rejects her, and orders lackeys to get rid of her. To avoid the violence she dives into the Seine and is saved from drowning by the Crown Prince of the Gargoyles. Since she was rejected by her destined mate, she's now up for grabs and the prince falls hard. She reciprocates and begins the transaction to a powerful Fire Angel. Meanwhile, the vampire has second thoughts, wants to reverse rejection and plots to steal her away. And that's it for Book 1. If you don't mind senseless, abrupt endings and urban fantasy is your genre, you may want to try this one but I won't be reviewing Book 2

WOW, This Book is Amazing!!!!! I was up past midnight last night I couldn't put it down, I had to fall a sleep with my cell phone still in my hand!!!! I loved the story line and the characters are so fit Amazingly put in the right spot to make this book so great and to come alive while your reading it!!! I really hope you all enjoyed it as much as I did!!!! I truly loved this book and excited to go onto book #2!!!! ❤️❤️
