About this ebook

Raina Sun arrives in Las Vegas to elope and ends up with a missing groom. With an overbooked hotel-casino and a rock and roll conference, Raina thought her fiancé was helping the hotel-casino with their security—until a strange woman searches Raina’s room and a dead woman is found in a laundry bag.

And to make matters worse, the security videos show both Raina and her fiancé interacting separately with the dead woman hours before her death. With no communication from her fiancé, Raina fears the worse—he is in hiding. But from whom? And how is he connected to the victim? With the help of the grandmas, can Raina find the killer and track down her fiancé?

Come join Raina, Po Po, and the rest of the gang in Sin City. It's Vegas, baby! Grab your copy of “Hazy Grooms and Homicides” today!

cozy-mystery, amateur-sleuth, senior-citizens, situational-humor, verbal-humor Like anything else she writes, this is a minimum two read book! Even if you think you are going to attend to the mystery first, you get all tangled up in the uproarious situational and verbal humor. That PoPo is who I want to be when I grow up--even if I'm not even remotely Chinese! The mystery itself is good with misdirections and red herrings galore. Look to the publisher's blurb for hints. If you've read this author before, you know that you just have to have a copy. And if you haven't, you need to find out what you're missing!

I voluntarily offered to review this book with no obligations and my opinions are honest! It was a great book ! Raina is in Vegas. What more could she ask for ? You add Po Po, and you have a recipe for a hilarious disaster. Don't forget the murder mystery! It seems that wherever Raina goes a murder follows, or is it the other way around? No matter! Raina is on the case w/ the help of Po Po. Loved the characters + the storytelling ! It has all the ingredients that you need for a great book! I can't wait for the next book in this series.

FIVE THINGS ABOUT ANNE

1. I can't resist ice cream.

2. I started my first book a month after I had my first baby.

3. And now that she's seven, I brainstorm story ideas with my girl.

4. Instead of reading to my children, I make up stories round-robin style with my children at bedtime.

5. I secretly want Raina Sun's life.

A NOTE FROM ANNE:

My books are my legacy to my children. Unfortunately, they won't grow up in the San Francisco Bay Area as I did. Without a cultural hub to keep the language and philosophies alive, our family will lose this part of our heritage in one generation. My children will be visitors to this rich culture just like my readers. I hope you'll enjoy your time with Raina Sun and her large dynamic family.
