About this ebook

OVER 140 MILLION COPIES SOLD

The beloved classic story about a young prince's travels through space??—??a profound tale about loneliness and loss, and love and friendship.

A pilot crashes in the Sahara Deser and encounters a strange young boy who calls himself the Little Prince. The Little Prince has traveled there from his home on a lonely, distant asteroid with a single rose. The story that follows is a beautiful and at times heartbreaking meditation on human nature.

The Little Prince is one of the best-selling and most translated books of all time, universally cherished by children and adults alike, and Richard Howard's translation of the beloved classic beautifully reflects Saint-Exupéry's unique and gifted style, bringing the English text as close as possible to the French in language, style, and spirit.

This definitive English-language edition of The Little Prince will capture the hearts of readers of all ages.

please note, this review is not of the story itself (which is more wonderful than I have words to describe) but of the version itself. There are a multitude of errors in this version, which make it exceedingly difficult to read. There are illustrations which overlap the words. There are pages that are cut off with the bottom line missing entirely. And a multitude of other mistakes (many missing spaces between words, misspellings) I enjoy this translation and the artwork. If they would go through and correct the formatting issues it would easily be five stars. This story deserves so much better

Good book but the text generation from the original pages is terrible. Some words overlap, others are cutoff at the bottom of the page or completely missing between pages. The text should be reflowed and the treasurer should be able to see the original pages.
