Bevor er dies tun kann, kommt es zum Streit zwischen ihm und Natalja um ein Stück Land. Tschubukow wirft Lomow schließlich hinaus. Als Natalja den eigentlichen Grund seines Kommens erfährt, wird sie hysterisch.
About the author
Anton Pawlowitsch Tschechow, geboren am 29. Januar 1860 in Taganrog, Russland und gestorben am 15. Juli 1904 in Badenweiler, Deutsches Reich, war ein russischer Schriftsteller, Dramatiker und Novellist und einer der bedeutendsten Vertreter der russischen Literatur. Er war von Beruf Mediziner, praktizierte jedoch nahezu ausschließlich ehrenamtlich. Stattdessen schrieb und publizierte er in den Jahren von 1880 bis 1903 mehr als 600 literarische Schriften. Internationale Berühmtheit erlangte er vor allem durch seine Theaterstücke wie ›Die Möwe‹ (1895), ›Der Kirschgarten‹ (1903) oder ›Drei Schwestern‹ (1901).
