Ratings and reviews

This volume started off feeling like a spinoff, essentially the same story told from different perspectives. This made me angry initially because it felt to me that the writer was just trying to stretch the series out while running out of ideas. However, the different point of views offered do add to the development of those characters and after the first few chapters the story became more engaging. The second part of the volume deals with what has been happening to Ranta and is very interesting albeit predictable. Again, many of the themes that seem to give the teenage characters so much angst seem pretty trivial and will be difficult to relate to if you are not the target age group. But that is just the nature of young adult novels and teenagers in general tend to be overdramatic and needlessly edgy anyway. The story concepts are ineteresting and I feel that this volume is a worthwhile addition to the series

at first I really thought this would just be filler for the story, but I have to say manato's pov wan indeed good. not to mention watching tanta growing up this much is satisfying. such a great story. really

just a filler. dont waste your money on it.
