Vol1,2 are good buildup. But book 3 totally ruined it all when it introduced god, op skills and guns. We had a good run, while it lasted.

fun and interesting take on the isiki genre. unlike most where the story follow the main character, it seems to dance the line of following his subordinate as they go about building their empire. this style gives mystery to the main character and makes you ask yourself if the main character is truly good. all the events and characterization are good. the world that the book portrays is well flushed out during the course of the book. I'm excited for the next book, and to truly see the main character as an entity within the dark black fog.

An interesting take on this genre. The main antagonist is not your usual overpowered hero, difficulty in communicating his 2nd in command is an overpowered hero. An excellent read, would definitely recommend this light novel.
