The terminology used to explain the miraculous conception of Christ is totally unscriptural & blasphemous. In Matthew 1 v.18, the commentator stated, "... Jesus' father was the Holy Spirit" & in Matthew 1 v.20, the commentator said, "... the father of her child was the Holy Spirit Himself." We need to be on our guard against using human terminology to try to explain the miraculous conception of Christ by the Holy Spirit. Nowhere in the Word of God is the Holy Spirit ever described, or designated as "Jesus' father" - that is totally unscriptural. God is the Father of the Lord Jesus Christ as stated in Matthew 26 v.39, 42, 53; 28 v.19. Matthew 28 v.19 alone is sufficient to prove that the Father & the Holy Spirit are distinct Persons of the Godhead & therefore, the Holy Spirit cannot be designated as "Jesus' father" as per comment in Matthew 1 v.18 & v.20.
