About this ebook

The orcs of Kinthur have been conspiring to circumvent the long-standing Gods’ Covenant. They plot to bring their evil god, Old One-Eye, back to rule Kinthur and dominate or destroy the other races. Ellwyn, a young elven ranger, and her companions stumble upon an ancient prophesy that foretells this event. With only the help of her companions, she must unravel the mystery before it’s too late. They are set on a course that will lead to high magic, monsters, treasures, and possible death. Can they stop the orcs in time and at what terrible cost?

About the author

April Nia Rain makes her debut in this collaboration with her hand-fasted partner and dungeon master, Trevor Jones. Inspired by the D&D games played with him and her friends, April has compiled the adventures of the Knights of Airygon into this first book in a trilogy.

April has been a fan of the fantasy genre since first reading the Dragonlance books by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman, and has been an ardent fan of Terry Brooks for many years. April and Trevor make their home in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina, with her beloved corgi, his mischievous pomsky, the dragon Mushu, and three rogue cats that patrol the yard.

I started writing when given a typewriter at the age of ten. The world of Kinthur was born in 1991 during the start of my journey through college. The first novel, Penta Ka Wa: The Dark Gift started as an oral story told to friends, but as the years passed, the story got longer and came alive, demanding it's put to paper.

Inspired by role-playing games (Dungeons & Dragons) and all the influences of the great fantasy writers in the past, the world of Kinthur was born. Over 10,000 years of history have been planned out to be shared and more stories are on the way. Kinthur is filled with dragons, elves, heroes, vampires, gods, and more fantastical creatures than you can throw a grimoire at.
