About this ebook

A courageous animal welfare advocate. A tortured bear shifter. And a fight to bring down a dangerous bear-fighting ring that just may cost them their lives.

When veterinary student Maya investigates a tip about illegal bear fights on a private island, she discovers something even more shocking: the captive bears are actually bear shifters being exploited for their genetic abilities. Maya knows she has to help them.

But the cartel doesn’t take kindly to nosy visitors. Before long, Maya finds herself locked up alongside the bear shifters and facing certain death. Desperate to survive, she convinces the cartel to let her tend to the injured bears.

She is immediately drawn to Hale, a captive bear who is deeply wounded - inside and out. Hale and Maya face a tough fight as they battle to regain their freedom and bring down the whole operation.

But the battle against the cartel is nothing compared to Hale’s struggle to overcome his traumatic experiences.

Can Maya’s love heal the scars of his past? Or will he push her away just when he needs her most, and risk losing her forever?

***This book is a standalone bear shifter paranormal romance with no cliffhangers and an HEA.***
