About this eBook

Being a living experiment wasn’t part of the scientific career she’d planned for herself.

Despite her sharp scientific mind and her degree in bio-molecular genetics, Dr. Ariel Jones hasn’t figured out how her life changed so much in a single day. Before she can blink and ask about what is going on, she is injected with a billion nanos and some very potent wolf blood.

Now she can suddenly turn into a giant white wolf with the bloodlust of a starving animal. And she’s an alpha…or so she is told by the even larger, very male, black wolf who was used to create her. Hallucination? She wishes. Whether human or wolf, Reed talks in her head and tells her how to handle things…or rather how to kill them…starting with the men who hold them all captive. Too bad he can’t tell her how to put her life back like it was.

Admittedly, there are perks to being a werewolf, such as meeting sexy werewolf guys like Matthew Gray Wolf. Science labs aren't overrun with sexy men in white coats. She also doesn’t mind learning about a side of herself she never knew existed. It's great changing into a real wolf whenever she wants, but being a living experiment wasn’t part of the scientific career she’d planned for herself. Neither was falling for the local werewolf alpha, but what else is a newbie werewolf caught in her burning time going to do?

Friends, family, and survival are a real hooks for me, it is also ironic how real people can be so strong in someways and so weak in others. This book should have been light and funny because it is well executed; however, I couldn't get over the powerlessness of being drugged. Whenever a writer can make me think about something completely out of my reference points that is an incredible storytelling talent. Thank you.

Before she could blink, Dr. Ariel Jones was shot with a billion nanos and some very potent wolf blood and now she’s an alpha wolf and learning about a side of herself she never knew existed in this thrilling paranormal romance. Despite her sharp scientific mind, Ariel’s not sure just how her life went so far off course in the blink of an eye and the reader can’t help but get caught up in the story as Ariel makes the adjustments necessary to survive in her new life. One of those adjustments is falling for Matthew Gray Wolf as he helps her through her burning time, yes there is lots of sizzling chemistry and scorching hot sex but she has no plans to become committed to a man and then she also has to deal with being an alpha wolf and everything that goes along with it which has lots of emotional turmoil flowing from the pages along with some chuckles. These strong compelling characters grab reader’s attention and refuse to let go while the fast paced and smooth flowing plot thrills readers with lots of suspense, excitement and romance. Anticipation builds throughout the story due to Ariel and her new packs’ situation but expectation and excitement builds as they try to discover just how Reed got into this predicament and what it means for the future with lots of exciting action along the way due to betrayals and jealousies. The scenes are well written with great details that bring the story to life and make it easy for the reader to become caught up in the story as the intriguing events ensure that there is never a dull moment. Donna McDonald has created a fascinating werewolf world with a few interesting twists that make for a refreshing change and I can’t wait to read Brandi’s story to find out what happens next.

Dr. Ariel Jones and two others became part of a science experiment without their consent. A shot of nanos and the blood of an enormous black wolf changed their lives forever. In her new life experiences, Ariel meets Matthew Gray Wolf, the alpha pack leader of another pack, and the two of them try to navigate their mutual interest in each other while both alphas’ deal with their instincts that insist they be in charge! There will definitely be fun times with this one! Grab your copy and watch the fur fly!! I had purchased this book back in 2016. I recognized it as soon as I started to read it. Unfortunately, I must not have reviewed it back then. But the author is one of my favorites, so it was fun to read it again. My only complaint was that Ariel, a supposed brilliant scientist waking up strapped to the gurney, was amazingly slow at coming to the understanding of the true nature of what she herself had been working on! Even as Dr. Crane explained it to her, she didn’t really get it. She didn’t even seem aware that the huge black wolf was a shifter. But I enjoyed the story [again] and I think others will as well.
