Teary has embarked on a spiritual journey. She flees the convent for the desert where she encounters the strange and compelling Rohan; a man with whom she seeks refuge, but it soon becomes apparent that her saviour has a dark agenda of his own. Teary’s story unfolds against the magnificent backdrop of desert, oasis and canyon lands, in company with some extraordinary beings who live in a state of harmony and mysticism both tantalising and terrifying.
