About this eBook

Teary has embarked on a spiritual journey. The only problem is she is completely unaware that this is so, for she knows nothing of her surroundings and neither can she recognise the people she finds herself amongst. A mysterious Sisterhood of women are nursing her back to health, high up in their remote convent set apart from the world and all its conventions. They tend to her wounds and help her deal with a crippling amnesia. In spite of her resistance, Teary begins to learn the convent’s ways, and gradually another world is revealed to her as she slowly recovers. She now glimpses a world of magic and miracles; of strange connections, mystical experiences, and profound truths and Teary sees her previous view of the world shattering. She grows deeply suspicious and afraid, unwilling to trust the Sisters and too unsure of herself to accept all that she is experiencing. She flees the convent for the desert where she encounters the strange and compelling Rohan; a man with whom she seeks refuge, but it soon becomes apparent that her saviour has a dark agenda of his own. Teary’s story unfolds against the magnificent backdrop of desert, oasis and canyon lands, in company with some extraordinary beings who live in a state of harmony and mysticism both tantalising and terrifying. Will she ever discover her true identity? Can she become an adept in the ways of the Sisterhood? Why does Rohan evoke such conflicting feelings of love and hate within her? To which path will she ultimately be led?
