This short story would have been a great chapter, out of an entire book. With that being said, It really needs more development in plot and its characters. It was more like reading the 8th chapter in a 32 chapter novel, however this was straight to the 'risky' situation and then its over and not even finished. If this was to go into a complete novel, then I might change my mind on this story.

Way to short, It drives me crazy that authors have you buy these books and they are literally 20 min long..... if it would have been longer I would have purchased a sequel but I have been burned before with paying for 60 page e books that take less then half hour to read! Just turned me off from making purchases from them.

About the author

Katy Baker was born in London to an English mother and an American father. She grew up a stone's throw from Hampstead Heath which remains one of her favorite places in the world. During her twenties she spent several years living in San Francisco where she developed an abiding love of bagels before returning to her beloved London.
