Auriol Britton, BA, FLCM, was educated at Linden Lodge School and New College Worcester, and read Theology and Religious Studies at Bristol University, graduating in 1998 with a 2/1. In her early career, Auriol held the post of low-grade temp at the BBC. She has also served on the Citizens' Council with the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence. Auriol is now, by her own admission, a jack of all arts and master of none, engaged in singing, writing, drama and art, and winning prizes at some of them... Auriol is a disability rights campaigner, and trains medical students in visual awareness. She is a member of the Bristol Diocesan Synod.
