About this ebook

A stock market, equity market, or share market is the aggregation of buyers and sellers of stocks (also called shares), which represent ownership claims on businesses; these may include securities listed on a public stock exchange, as well as stock that is only traded privately. Investment is usually made with an investment strategy in mind. From choosing the right stocks to freezing the entry, exit price and from setting a stop-loss level to closing open positions and booking when the target price is reached, there are lot many things that an investor has to keep in mind while day trading on equity. As an investor, you also have to remember the essential trading rules and choose the right trading platform. Consequently, before the investment they are often confused and do not know how to tackle the trade. They often panic before the investment. As researcher, I had felt the need for a companion guide to prepare for the trade or investment. With this experience as a back drop, this endeavour has been undertaken, and I hope that the new learner or researcher of stock market and other allied subjects will find this book beneficial during stock selection and research. Lastly, I request my students and colleagues to give their valuable suggestions which will help in further improvement of the book.
