About the author

Mark Gunning grew up in Chippawa, Ontario where he spent most of his youth playing outside with his friends. They had many fun adventures together and this has helped create some of the stories you have enjoyed today.

A teacher with the DSBN for over twenty years, Mark started sharing some of his stories with his students. They enjoyed them so much, in 2017 he finally wrote his first book, The Adventures of William and Thomas. Today he continues to create more great stories. He and his wife Stephanie, have three children, two cats, and two dogs named Ozzie and Chewie.

Ivan Zamyslov is a Latvian-born Russian artist. Who mainly does cartoon-style illustrations. He loves working on children's books because sometimes the best way to make a good children's book illustration is to draw like a child yourself. Plus, it beats getting a real job.
