Old Bess, young Bess, Elizabeth, Lizzie... are we at the beginning or the end? A retired English/Music teacher and the mother of seven children, Janet Ollerenshaw writes for pleasure and enjoys word-craft. She feels that the experience of reading should be more than just a good story and should be enjoyed as a whole, much like listening to music. She has a Masters' degree in Educational Research from Cambridge University and studied Humanities, English and Music with the Open University. She currently works part-time as an exam marker for Edexcel and for Cambridge International Exam board and when not writing, enjoys travelling, her dogs, gardening and spending time in the company of her numerous grandchildren."
