One hopelessly single younger sister.

She loved her brothers, but, hell, they were ANNOYING.

And good at scaring off every single man she’d ever dated.

But that man didn’t appear to exist.

Until one day there was a knock at the door.

And Rafe showed up, moved in, and—

Proved that her brothers’ best friend was the only man on the planet who wasn’t scared.

If you are a new reader, then this is a great place to start while reading the series as we are introduced to a whole new set of characters of which other books in the future will be written. The future books with be about Cora's brothers and Rafe's best friends. If you a long-time reader, you will love seeing how all the previous couples in this series are doing as they are good friends with Cora and every Thursday they get together for some fun. Cora and Rafe were new characters to me as I have not read the previous books in the series. Cora has an awesome home life but she has 6 brothers, and they all work very hard to protect her from men. Rafe is a family friend to Cora, but he is best friends with her brothers and her mom sees him as a son. Rafe's home life was awful and so his family became his best friend's family. There is also a 6-year age difference between Rafe and Cora, and this was kind of an odd fact, Rafe actually held Cora as a newborn. Rafe is in town, and he needs a place to stay so her brothers ask him to stay with her and so that's how this story begins. It is a romance between a childhood friend and her brother's best friend and her huge crush. This was a story about friendship, love, family, loyalty and soulmates. At times Rafe frustrated me because he came off a bit of a coward and at the base of that was his fear of losing the people most important to him. But when he was with Cora, I loved his alpha tendencies. I received a complimentary early release copy of this e-book from the author prior to release and am voluntarily leaving a review.

4 star Review Bad Best Friend (Billionaire’s Club #14) by Elise Faber Having read a number of books by Elise Faber I could not wait to read Bad Best Friend. This was an entertaining story and I quickly became invested in Cora and Rafe’s friends to lovers story. I really liked these characters. Cora has known Rafe all her life and he has always been an “adopted” brother. However all that chained a few years ago when she started to get feelings for him. What she doesn't know is that he has feelings for her too and things are about to get complicated. I really felt for Rafe, he loves Cora but doesn’t want to jeopardize the relationship he has with her family, after all they have been the only ones who have been there for him. I fell hard and fast for Rafe and enjoyed the push and pull dynamic of their relationship as they moved from friends to lovers. Bad Best Friend had heat, humour, love and characters who were easy to relate to as it ticked a lot of the boxes for me.
