As an occupational therapist who has worked in people's home over the last 7 years, I found this book not only entertaining but also immensely helpful! Barbara's attitude, quick VIDEOS, simple and creative solutions and practical play-by-plays of how she maximizes the quality and participation in her life (that also happens to include living with Multiple Sclerosis). I think this is a great tool for especially OTs in home health, students, new grads and even is a wonderful teach tool because of how many real life scenarios Barbara shares (that are often addressed by especially home health OTs). I learned and laughed and am so grateful I discovered this book!

This book has been extremely helpful helping me to navigate caring for my disabled Grandfather. I love Barbara’s attitude of “I CAN overcome this obstacle”. I have gotten many different tips and tricks to help my Grandfather become more independent from this book. Will definitely continue to use the tips in this book and show my friends.
