Enjoyable plot. Likeable characters. But there were mainly two things that bothered me about this novel. Firstly, the fact that none of the men can comprehend Maddy's need for independence; her brothers do not want her to work. Secondly, Riley is just a bit too smart and well-spoken for his age.

What a great story! Wonderfully written with amazing characters. Riley just made my heart melt from the very beginning. Chase Garrett has had his heart shattered and is determined not to let anyone close again. That is until a little guy named Riley comes barrelling into his life. Riley is convinced Chase is his Daddy. No matter what Chase or the boys mother, Maddy, tells him. Chase and Maddy decide to work together to help Riley understand but it's not long before they are both wishing Chase really was Riley's dad. A must read. I highly recommend it.

This was a very emotional story. Riley is three years old, and mistakes Chase for his father. Maddy tries to straighten things out, but they struggle with the truth in an effort to not further hurt Riley. I loved all of the characters. Chase is such a sweetheart, Maddy is a wonderful mother, Riley is adorable, and Maddy's brothers certainly added some drama to the situation - being a bit overprotective of their sister. The characters all seemed so real to me. I couldn't believe how fast I finished the story. I just couldn't stop reading.
