This course provides limited rescue training for the general public. It develops the capability for removing lightly trapped and surface casualties. It trains individuals to perform the least complicated of rescue operations in the absence of or before the arrival of fully trained and equipped rescue squads. It also provides training so that they can estimated the extent of damage and the need for organized rescue squads.
