I did like this book. The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is because it had a very slow beginning with Annika language barrier I guess you can say. Okay we get she's a mermaid she's from another world but it was a little hard to get through it because of that. But after 10 chapters it really picked up and you kind of just ignored her dialect. Can't wait to see Doyle and Riley hook up.

I enjoyed reading about the group's progression on their quest and the relationship development between the characters. I loved the location description, could really picture the backdrop. Looking forward to the last installment.

I only give 4 stars as it took forever to get the action pack drama. I understand the need for the character development for both Sawyer and Annika. Yet, some of the fluff could be removed. However, I enjoyed the second book. Looking forward ro Doyle and the Lycan match.
