Neglected by his mother and bullied by his peers, he learned in his teens that he is, in fact, very much wanted in another realm, of which very few others are even aware. His gift is a double-edged sword, bringing him validation and approval by way of a daily nightmare that stars only Stacy - and them.
He hates them. He fears them.
He needs them.
And he’s come to Bonfire Beach to find them.

Cherilyn Korber wrote her first story at the age of six, and from there, she was off and running. The succeeding years saw a steady stream of horse stories, coming of age novellas, and explorations of the supernatural and things that can neither be proven nor disproven. She worked for 14 years in higher education administration and student development, and then, wanting a change from academia, ventured into the medical field and spent five years as an optometric technician. There were brief forays into substitute teaching, shipping logistics, and retail along the way, as well, but when it came down to it, the creative arts always had her heart.
In 2017, she completed a six-month training program in voice acting and launched her own professional voiceover business, lending her voice to TV and radio commercials, Internet videos, and even a small role in an anime film. From there, she scripted, narrated, and produced three seasons of a positive-vibes podcast called “Anything But Routine,” inspired by her own successful battle with breast cancer.
Creative writing, however, continued to be her first love, and in 2020, she entered the world of indie publishing with a contemporary paranormal series more than five years in the making, and she fervently hopes people enjoy reading it as much as she enjoys writing it.
