About this ebook

NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER

“I come from a family forged by tragedies and bound by a remarkable, unbreakable love,” Hunter Biden writes in this deeply moving and “unflinchingly honest” (Entertainment Weekly) memoir of addiction, loss, and survival.

When he was two years old, Hunter Biden was badly injured in a car accident that killed his mother and baby sister. In 2015, he suffered the devastating loss of his beloved big brother, Beau, who died of brain cancer at the age of forty-six. These hardships were compounded by the collapse of his marriage and a years-long battle with drug and alcohol addiction.

In Beautiful Things—“an astonishingly candid and brave book about loss, human frailty, wayward souls, and hard-fought redemption” (Dave Eggers, New York Times bestselling author)—Hunter recounts his descent into substance abuse and his tortuous path to sobriety. The story ends with where Hunter is today—a sober married man with a new baby, finally able to appreciate the beautiful things in life.

Hunter Biden did not write a word of this book. He is an extremely sick and dangerous man. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Don't believe a word of this book full of propaganda & lies. This book deal was made for two reasons: to continue to fool the American people & also to launder millions of dollars he received from the CCP. Do your research - the real truth is out there but it's absolutely NOT in this pathetic excuse for a "memoir".

The life of a gilded drug addicted. When your sniffing gold dust it's easy to recover. The fact that he's gotten hand outs his entire life only to throw his life away for drugs , sex and the life of sleeping with his brothers sister after his brother dies is just appalling, and a stark reminder of our welfare system. Biden would love to create more handouts for people to live the life of his son, if only he could get us all millions of dollars a year by using his political favour to get us jobs we are under qualified for and don't need any participation in.. oh wait, unemployment pays $16 an hour just at the federal level... Nevermind people Biden's helping us all like he helped hunter here. Excuse me while I go party with drugs and waste my life on free money from daddy Biden. Sad fact is real drug addicts not these Hollywood phonies, would end up dead in the gutter strung out with no one to care about them except maybe a few family members. Yet what does Biden do for them?

The three terms that describe this book? Poorly written, self-indulgent, and a shameless attempt to make money from other people's success. Putting politics, Hunter Biden has NOT improved his character, and is observably NOT a good person. It's no wonder his book underperformed despite heavy media promotion.
