Volcanoes: Volcanoes are powerful openings on the surface of planet earth. They are like very big vents with lots of hot things boiling inside and sometimes these hot things spill over! Volcanoes can be fascinating and exciting but they can also be scary and very dangerous! 

You might think of a Volcano like a big mountain but they are very different than the normal mountains we know about. What makes it different is what’s inside. Have you ever looked inside a volcano? Neither have I!
