 The only path to life (not mere survival) for a human being is the love of God. But what is love?  There are many definitions of this short word and even more opinions about its meaning. There are also those who say that there are different types of love. However, Scripture simply states that God is Love and that love comes from God; so why is there such confusion about love?  
 
Part I of "Because God Is Love" exposes the passionate and alluring - yet deceptive - reasons behind this confusion of meaning; brings forth the simple truth about love in its human facet; and shows how everything else that has been called "love" is nothing other than a delusion that is akin to idolatry, and as such it is destructive and completely removed from the true love of the Lord our God: The only power that redeems, fulfills and provides meaning to the existence of those who wholeheartedly love Him.
