Ben-Hur by General Lew Wallace is one of the most beloved pieces of historical fiction ever writen. I enjoy the narration, which goes from the mundane to the holy, from the simple to the fantastical and follow the course of life of three men: Balthazar, Judah and Messala and how each of them are affected, direcly or indirectly, by Christ.
