Very eye opening, I'm very impressed all the ways politics has invaded our lives. When conservatives talk about brainwashing the country I would have to say the are very correct. The left has been working on American citizens for some time now and I can't believe how long it has taken for people to catch on (including myself)!!

Shapiro ist der lebendige Beweis dafür, dass Bildung nicht zwangsläufig Intellekt oder Intelligenz bedeutet. Jeder Politikwissenschaftler, jeder seriöse genau genommen, würde sich mit Vorhaltungen über angebliche Verschwörungen weitestgehend zurückhalten. Reißerisch und unseriös, wie Shapiro aber nunmal ist, tut er dies nicht, sondern springt kopfüber in den Verschwörungskessel. Im Grunde kann man das Buch zusammen fassen mit: Ihm passt nicht, was in Hollywood und im TV zu sehen ist, weil er sich in seinem Weltbild angegriffen fühlt. Reflexion kann man von Shapiro nicht erwarten. Als Akademiker sollte man Für und Wieder der eigenen Thesen mit in Betracht ziehen. Auch dies tut Shapiro nicht, bzw wenn, dann nur um mal scheinheilig drüber zu wischen, um so zu tun, als wäre er reflektiert. Er zieht gar keine anderen Positionen als die eigenen tatsächlich in Betracht, sein BA gilt ihm lediglich als eine Art intellektuelle Schwanzverlängerung. Oberfläch, reißerisch, realitätsverdrehend.
