Some terminology (like "aliorelative," which is now "antireflexive") is obsolete, but this book is still a great introduction to fundamental concepts in mathematics that help me model and reason about the world around me. For a more rigorous follow-up (with exercises), I recommend "How To Prove It" by Daniel Velleman.
