I like all of Betty Neels books. This book The Independent Woman was good but I would have liked it if after Gerard told Julia that he loved her the book would have told something about the sisters and Julia and Gerard being happy. But all in all I love her books. She leaves at lot to the imangenation after the book is finished. 4 star rating

I enjoyed the book but thought it moved along quite slow. I almost gave up reading it a few times.
