Mr. Shripadrao Laxman Kulkarni, (S.L. Kulkarni) the author of this book, was a great source of inspiration to all of us as well as to the society at large. After a prolonged 20 years of his passing away on 7th May 1994 the complete literature is being brought out in the booking form. After reading out the 1“ volume of Shri. SLK's autobiography sent through email, our friend Mr. M. Vishwanath immediately dashed to my house the next day itself. He was so overwhelmed by the writings that he decided to publish his complete works. This was the turning point for the publication of this book which was my long-cherished aspiration.

Sri Sripadrao Laxman Kulkarni, whose life was a total struggle for a minimum survival, faced the ordeals of time and destiny with exemplary spirit and succeeded to stand as an embodiment of life to project the situation of lower middle class family of an early 20th century. Hence the life and times of Sri. Kulkarni has become a testimony of success of a good life built upon good convictions.

After his retirement in 1977 Sri. Kulkarni proceeded on a Bharat Darshan along with his wife found solace in the fulfilment of his longtime aspiration.

Here he gives an in-depth narration of places he visited, trials and tribulations faced, firmness of will power, strategy to face the situations, details of expenditures and many more contents which may not be available elsewhere. His simplicity and divinity of life is completely projected thru his Viewpoints in this travelogue which is rare of its kind to find now a days.
