RULE #3 OF WALL STREET: NEVER BACK DOWN

No one can know I've claimed the human as my mate.

The enemies are at the gates–one wrong move and I’ll lose it all. My world will never be safe for her.

If my pack finds out that I’ve mated a human, they’ll revolt. The fractures will grow deeper than ever and we'll be picked apart one by one.

The lives of everyone I love hang in the balance.

Madison may bear my mark, but she isn’t content to remain my dirty little secret.

Now I must choose–love or my pack.

Either way, one will die.

Marked is book three in the Big Bad Boss trilogy. The books must be read in order. It features a billionaire boss-hole wolf shifter and his freakishly smart assistant.

"I need Madi with a desperation that's still driving me mad." Finally. Finally! Finally, after waiting years, we get the conclusion to Brick and Madi's story. Ok, maybe it wasn't years but it seemed like forever! I'm struggling with what I can say to express how fantastic this story was and not give away even a single hint of what happens and it's difficult. So much action and drama, tons of twists and turns. Some of it I predicted or guessed but some of it was a suprise. Brick and Madi are two such amazing, wonderful characters. Their chemistry was incredible. They are both so strong and interesting and I loved watching them both grow. Their relationship wasn't easy and they both had to change but in the end I'm sure they both feel it was worth it. Biggest suprise that I can share is that this isn't the end of the series. I assumed it was just a trilogy. But apparently, while Madi and Brick's story is finished, we have more books to come, starting with Billy! I can't wait!

Oh my! This story had so much going on and does well at bringing the trilogy together. The ups and downs with Madi and Brick are great, we get to see the strength that Madi has, and how much stronger she can be. There's also Brick's struggles with dealing with the pack vs being there for his mate. It works well, flows together, and gives us the connection with the other characters we've met and opens up a world I'm looking forward to digging into!

3.75 stars. This story is dual POV (except first and last chapters), well written, and a satisfying finale to this contemporary shifter romance trilogy. I enjoyed that Madi didn’t let herself be beaten down by Brick’s expectations. I also enjoyed the way Brick’s mother found a safe space for herself. I appreciated that Brick finally got to a point where he acknowledged how much he needed Madi and began to make space for a more balanced relationship but I found him still a bosshole.
