Write and run code every step of the way, using Android Studio to create apps that integrate with other apps, download and display pictures from the web, play sounds, and more. Each chapter and app has been designed and tested to provide the knowledge and experience you need to get started in Android development.

Somethings are pretty on point but some are too scattered apart and lose me. I've had an error on Chapter 5 for the longest. I'm looking through the code of the book and not seeing any typos and can't figure out why I'm getting the error. Making it frustrating to try and progress.

I have the physical copy and it is excellent. The book mentions if you don't know how to program in java you are in trouble on the first chapter. This is definitely a true statement. I haven't written java code for many years and it was a struggle to get back into it.
