About this ebook

* New York Times best seller!*

Billy Graham offers hope and biblical wisdom for today's challenging problems.

The daily news is jammed with alarming headlines of conflict in the Middle East, economic crisis, and terrorist threats around the world. In Storm Warning, Billy Graham — the best-known evangelist of our time — examines today’s most challenging problems and adds his voice and perspective to what the Bible says about the storms we are facing... and the storms yet to come.

Since its original publication, Graham has added nearly two decades to his ministry and has lived through several more storms. This completely revised and updated book highlights Graham's experiences, insights, and renewed sense of urgency as he examines the book of Revelation in light of current events—and sees prophetic events become reality.

“Now in the twenty-first century, we see accelerated growth of unrestrained greed and corruption on Wall Street, financial mismanagement in the halls of government, and fraud and perversion at the highest levels of both church and state. While keeping an eye on the showdown that many observers feel may be brewing even now in Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and North America, many people sense the possibility of an even greater unraveling in the world. Can we find any hope in the current world situation? Will there be lasting peace? How should we live in the face of our nation’s new challenges and the magnitude of the world’s crises? These are important—even vital—questions, and I invite you to come with me as we discover the answers God has given us.” —Billy Graham

This book was about had an older copy, but Billy Graham updated it as of 2010, and reviewed America as we know it today. He talked about what the Bible tells us about the end times, and he compares our world today to the verses in the Bible talking about the end times. He talks about the downfall of America's moral values, and recent events and disasters that have shaped our world in the last decade or so. He emphasizes, we are essiently, drawing near to the rapture, and tribulation. He outlines that the tribulation, is very real, and some people won't realize it until it is to late to look back. I found my very thoughts and convictions to, many times, the same as Billy Graham. I, too, like many other Christians today, believe we are approaching and facing the storm clouds. I can feel the humidity, from upcoming rain, clinging to my skin, the thunder is roaring and echoeing in the empty hearts of many today, and heart beats faster as the lightning becomes brighter. The storm of the end times is coming, and it's not going to hold back. Unfortunately, I see America laughing in the face of the approaching storm, and preparing to have a party, instead of noticing and taking precautions of the storm that Jesus warned us about. This book was interesting to me, and when I saw it under the list of available books I immediately clicked it. I was very excited to read it. As much as I would like to say it did, this book didn't really inspire me in any way. I believe Billy Graham is very wise man of God, and he is very inspirational, but this book itself wasn't to me. This book could inspire other people, but I was having a hard time reading along, I wanted to skip ahead to a more exciting part of the book. I'm not condoning or condeming Bro. Graham's writing style in anyway, in fact I believe he is very wise, and he writes in a loving manner. It just didn't touch my personal heart, but I saw potential in the book and it could very well inspire and touch someone's heart. Billy Graham wrote in a loving style, and not in a cruel "your going to Hell" style. He outlined the book in the Word of God, which is very important to me. I would recommend this book to other, and while it didn't personally stand out to me, it is a very good book, and isn't a waste of time.

About the author

Billy Graham (1918–2018), world-renowned preacher, evangelist, and author, delivered the Gospel message to more people face-to-face than anyone in history and ministered on every continent of the world in almost 200 countries and territories. His ministry extended far beyond stadiums and arenas, utilizing radio, television, film, print media, wireless communications, and thirty-three books, all that still carry the Good News of God's redemptive love for mankind. Engraved on a simple fieldstone in the Memorial Prayer Garden where he is buried at the Billy Graham Library in Charlotte, North Carolina, these words exemplify how the man and the minister wished to be remembered: "Preacher of the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ."
