About this eBook

An “uproarious” shifter romance with “intensely satisfying chemistry between the leads” from the New York Times-bestselling author (Publishers Weekly).

Livy Kowalski has no time for idiots. When you shapeshift into a honey badger, getting through life's irritants is a finely honed skill. Until she gets stuck housing her nutso cousin and dealing with her dad's untimely and unexplained demise.

That's where Vic Barinov comes in--or his house does. Vic can't step outside without coming back to find Livy devouring his honey stash and getting the TV remote sticky. It gets his animal instincts all riled up. But he'll have to woo her at high speed: all hell is breaking loose, and Livy is leading the charge…

“Erotically charged…Laurenston builds up her world with a sprawling cast of memorable characters and their over-the-top antics, featuring everything from bear-only towns with Renaissance Faires to shifter roller derby…delightfully zany.”—Publishers Weekly

This steady to fast paced and smooth flowing plot keeps readers on the edge of their seat with lots of action, suspense, humor, drama and romance. The attraction between Livy and Vic is a slow burning flame that steadily gets hotter throughout the book sneaking up on them. The sex scenes are hot, steamy and sizzling with lots of passion that stimulates the senses. The relationship between the couple is filled with aggravation, friendship, loyalty, violence and humor that keep the reader tense with anticipation as they wait to see what will happen next. The story is filled with laughter and romance as well humorous violence situations and violence toward the bad guys which makes for a very entertaining read. I waited impatiently for this book and I was not disappointed, Shelly Laurenston gives readers a world full enchanting and intriguing vibrant characters that captures the imagination and ensures that the readers are fascinated with each and every story and character. Each story has unique freshness and its own quirky personality that jumps off the pages keeping the reader very entertained.

I totally enjoyed this book. Shelly Laurenston combined humor, love, and good old fashioned Russian mobsters in her storytelling. I can't wait to see what she has in store for her next book.
