There are so many twists and turns and real life drama in this book. I found myself awed at the way the story unfolds. Ms. Bolling puts you right in the thick of things from the beginning. She does not mince words when spelling out exactly what the villain organization is up to. I am in amazement at her creativity. The story is action-packed and fast-paced. There were scenes that I couldn't read fast enough because I was so anxious to find out what would happen next. We get a glimpse of the hero dealing with the political and workplace politics as well as his family life that is also coming apart at the seams. Just when you think you have it all figured out, another layer is revealed, another element is established and it is all wonderfully mind-boggling. This is the sort of story that stays with you long after you've read it. Days later you will still find yourself asking questions (in a good way) and anticipating the next series installment.
