An excellent sequel to The Cry of The Icemark! Charlemagne is by far one if my favourite characters. Also, the author also gives much life to the other characters as well and brings the story to life. This book keeps you on the edge of your seat as you hold your breath as you follow along with this thrilling book, begging for more.

The cry of the icemark and this the sequel, the lade of fire, are without doubt some of my favorite books to read. I can't tell u how awsome a book has to be when you are reading it and get visibly exited at every turn page. They hook you and won't let go...
