Ratings and reviews

Same story, different title and characters. And thats just too much violation for an fbi agent, or detective. And whats up with the females always acting on their own...makes me think if agents in the real world actually work like this. but overall its ok.

I understand that consistency is key, but across the 4 or 5 books that were included; there were some details that were repeated, such as a female detective with a issue for following orders, has some sort of 6th sense, has a male partner, and has internal demons. There isn't anything wrong with that, but towards the end of the 4th+ book I was able to predict the ending with a certain measure of accuracy.

Each story is an intense gut chilling journey through tortuous paths of psychological terror of the protagonist. One feels her every painful mental torment as she struggles with her inner demons while desperately hunting down predators before they claim their next victim. Fantastic reading, if rather dark.
